This is a FREE web site for all former students, faculty and friends of Garfield High School. It is not meant to replace Classmates.com or any individual class sites that have been set up over the years. I wanted to do this to have a single place for any class member to go and find others that they may know from other classes and to leave their memories, stories, photos or whatever for others to view. I also thought it could become a central place to find out about class reunions and other information. Joining the site is simple and a two-step process.
First, fill out the blog registratation form above. Second, fill out the site registration form below. That’s it. The first one places you in the blog membership to view member only files and upload pictures, videos, comment on posts and post articles, stories, etc., depending on the level of privileges you want.
The second one allows me to confirm your Garfield affiliation and set your role according to the role you select from the drop down list. You will be listed in the membership directory for all to see unless you specify otherwise.
I hope you find this site fun, informative and useful in some way. Any comments and suggestions for this site are welcome.

Roles and their abilities are as follows:
SUBSCRIBER – Can only view all pages and comment on pages and posts.
CONTRIBUTOR – Can edit their posts but cannot publish them. When a contributor creates a post, it will need to be submitted to an administrator for review. Once a contributor’s post is approved by an administrator and published, however, it may no longer be edited by the contributor. A contributor does not have the ability to upload files/images.
AUTHOR – can edit, publish and delete their posts, as well as upload files/images
EDITOR – can publish, edit, and delete any posts/pages, moderate comments, manage categories, manage tags, manage links and upload files/images. Editors also have access to the blog stats.
