Greg Bell, an Olympic gold medal winner and a native of Vigo County, will be the keynote speaker Thursday night for the Indiana state and local human rights training conference. “Dr. Bell is certainly on the hearts and minds of the senior population of Terre Haute,” said Jeff Lorick, executive director of the Terre Haute Human Relations Commission, which is hosting the conference and Bell’s visit. “Some people in the community have the idea that he never really got the credit and appreciation for what he accomplished from our community,” Lorick said.
